    I can't figure out how to remove the black box under the main menu. Also, is there a way to put a large photo where the slider goes?

    Hi,

    1/ Please go to Appearance > Widgets > on "Header SingUp Form" > remove all widgets inside that sidebar.

    2/ You can do that by use Penci Slider, please do following steps:

    a) Make sure you've installed plugin Penci Slider - if not, go to Appearance > Install Plugins > install & activate this plugin.

    b) Go to Dashboard > Penci Slider > Add New your photo here.

    c) Go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > check to "Enable Featured Slider" and on "Featured Slider Style" select "Penci Slider Style 1" or "Penci Slider Style 2"
