Appreciate your thoughts. I'll try to contact Google Adsense and see if it is something from their end. I have to wait for 24 hours anyway since i got locked out for trying to paste the code too many times in one day. Thanks for letting me know.

I just signed up for Adsense, and I tried to paste the Adsense code here...
Customize > General Options > Google Adsense Code to Display Above Posts Layout for Archive Pages ( display on category, tags, search, archive page )
But Adsense is saying the code is missing or incomplete when i try to verify.
I have made sure the code I copied is complete, I have also made sure the url is correct. Any thoughts on why I am facing this issue? Please advise.
