A few questions to the recent posts widget. I've place one in my main sidebar and in my footer, but the thumbnail in the footer is not showing. Is there a way to change this? And where do I set the category? And can I add some code (or other) to put the date on the next line?

Please make sure you're using "Soledad Recent Posts" widget to do that - don't use "Recent Posts" widget.
