I want the feature image to still show on the blog on general, but disappear when clicked on the post. I have tried to download a plugin to hide it, but it doesn't seem to work. I wonder if there is something to be done about this?

And also, could you tell me how to disable showing the author of a post as well?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

1/ You can check option for it via Customize > Single Post Options > Hide Featured Image on Top.

2/ You can check options for it via Customize > Single Post Options > "Hide Auhtor" and "Hide Author Box"

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I was able to fix the problem.

And also, it seems like after i hide the feature image from being visible once i clicked on the post, i was unable to pin the featured image on pinterest while all the other pictures turned out to be pin-able. I wonder if there is any way to solve this as well? Thank you.

    Hi,

If so, I think you should put featured image to your post by use Editor - put it anywhere inside content - where you want to display it.

I have tried turning off "Hide Featured Image on Top" and see if the featured image was pin-able on pinterest, but it seems to be the same even if i turn it the "Hide Featured Image on Top" on or off.

Is there any way around this?

I see. So i need to put the image in the post so that it can be pinned. What about the featured image? There is no way that it can be pinned? Even if we put in some custom CSS or something?

    Hi,

If you want to get the pinterest button appears on the featured image, I recommend you add it via your editor - it's better because you can control where to add itsmile.png

If you want to make the featured image auto appears by un-check on "Hide Featured Image on Top" and you can pin it, you need to go to Customize > Single Post Options > and check to "Disable Lazyload Images on Single Posts".
