    I don't seem to be able to change the colour of some of the feature post sections on the home page. I'm talking in particular about the hover colour I want the hover colour to be the same on all the featured sections the fact its not looks untidy and is quite aggravating.

    Please try change the colors for it via Customize > Colors for Other Layouts Options
