I was about to translate the PenNews text strings for the Spanish side of my site and noticed that they don't show up in Polylang.
I see that the theme's text strings can be found in Personalize->Quick Text Translation, but I'm quite shocked about having to use other means for translating them when the PenNews description explicitly states:
Multilingual Supported: WPML & Polylang Compatible – easy to create multiple languages site.
Is there a way to integrate the theme translations into Polylang? It would make translating the theme much more consistent and manageable, specially when adding a third language and more.
Polylang has always been installed and activated, that's why there's an English and a Spanish version of the site.
I can't take a screenshot of something that's missing. All the strings in the "Quick Text Translation" tab should appear along with all the others in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=mlang_strings
Currently, pennews theme doesn't support translate string with "Strings translations" of polylang plugin.
Please translate string with customize or use Poedit or a plugin such as Loco translate to do the translation.
We will consider to add more this feature in the next update version of PenNews. I'm not sure it will be added but i'm sure we will consider about this.

And with translations , this theme support quick translate text or you can use WPML.
This theme only some text you need translate .
With quick translate text. I think it's very simple and doesn't take you too much time.
We will consider to add more this feature in the next update version of PenNews.

In that case, perhaps the "Polylang Compatible" claim should be removed from the product description, until the theme is compatible with Polylang.
