    Hi!

    Im having problem with the mailchimp sign up form that comes with the theme. It suddenly changed placement on my site, and now it is misplaced and lies under the menu, instead of below it.

    It is just on the homepage that I have this problem, not on any of the other pages. See pictures, one with the red circle on the wrong one, and the other with green circle of how it should look like.

    What can I do to correct this?

    Hi,

    Your site is under construction - so I can't see it. Please make it live to I can see the issues.

    Hi!

    I have solved that problem now, but I do have two more questions.

    I have created two category pages, and I want them to be full width (1400 px wide), like the rest of the site. How do I do this? I have tried around but I can´t get it right.

    Here is the page url 1 that I want to have 1400 px wide: http://prod.miahogfeldt.se/category/mias-val/

    Here is the page url 2 that I want to have 1400 px wide: http://prod.miahogfeldt.se/category/harligt-i-livet/

    Then I´m also wondering where I change the wordings on "read more" buttons on the above URL:s? I need to translate it to Swedish but can´t understand where I change that. It´s the same when i´m clicking on one post and scroll down to "leave a comment" - I would need to translate that as well.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    1/ If you want to do that, please add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1400px){
    body.archive .container {
        width: 1400px;
    }
    .widget #searchform input.search-input,
    .penci-sidebar-content .widget #searchform input.search-input{
        max-width: 100%;
    }
    }

    2/ Please change it via Customize > Quick Text Translation.

    Hi!

    Thanks a lot for this info. I´m gonna try to add it and see if it works.

    I also noticed something else, on my computer screen the width of the page looks nice (with some space on both sides of the menu), but when my colleague had a look at her laptop (with a smaller screen) it didnt look that good because the width of the page was too wide (see attached picture named "snyggtrygg"). However, when we had a look at the template (here: http://soledad.pencidesign.com/soledad-fashion-magazine2/) it looked good on both my bigger screen as well as her smaller screen (see attached picture of how the theme looked like on her computer on the picture named "theme").

    What settings and width does the theme have? With our page, we want to have the same "full screen look" on all our pages as it is on the theme, and that it adapts as nicely as the theme does on various screen sizes.

    Hi,

    Of course, it's different because on our demos, we're using container 1170px - on your site, you're using container 1400.

  • LinaOstlund replied

    Hi!

    Okay, I´ll try to set it to 1170 to see if it looks the same. Thanks for your help. :) I´ll write here again if its not working.

  • LinaOstlund replied

    Hi again,

    I have now set my page to 1170 px, you can see it here: http://prod.miahogfeldt.se/. Now its more narrow. But when I´m now comparing to the theme (http://soledad.pencidesign.com/soledad-fashion-magazine2/) its wider than my page is.

    See attached screenshots also.

    What might be the difference?

    Hi!

    Okay, that´s great. Thanks for the help, really appreciate it.

    Is there an easy way to make some more space between the two columns on the home page, like it is on the theme? See pictures.

    PenciDesign replied

    Hi,

    Please edit the section and select Column Gap is "Wider" - check this image: http://prntscr.com/ppi6oh

  • LinaOstlund replied

    Hi!

    If im choosing to have the column gap as "wide", it solves the problem of having more space between the columns, but then there is also more space on the outer sides of the widgets making the right and left side of the page narrower compared to the width of the menu. And it is not like that on the theme. On the theme, all content is ending to the right and left on the exact same place..

    Have a look at the attached pictures.

    Hi,

    You just need to increase the container width of the section ( from 1170 to bigger value fit with the container ), it's easy, right?

    You are awesome, thank you so much!

    Just another question, I see some advertisement space on the theme, see pictures. If I want to add that to my page, do I just ad the advertisement as a standard picture widget and ad the banner picture there?

  •  2,700
    PenciDesign replied

    Hi,

    You can add banner ads or another ads type for that place.

    For elementor, you just need use block "HTML" and put your ads code there.

    For sidebar, you can go to Appearance > Widgets > drag & drop widget "Custom HTML" to your sidebar and paste your ads code there.

    Hi!

    Okay, thanks.

    1. Is AdSense the best option to use for ads on my site?

    2. On the theme there is a shop. How do I set up a shop for my soledad page? What plugin should I use?

    Hi,

    1/ You can use any ads inside the theme. No problems with that.

    2/ You can do that by install Woocommerce plugin.

    And please check documentation for Woocommerce here
