I am currently using the Soledad Beauty Theme and cannot manage to get the "Featured" or "Recent" posts to go underneath the "Popular Posts" on the home page. I went through all the options hundreds of times and cannot figure it out. Thank you for your help.
Edit: I made sure to have the Front Page: Display New Posts selected.
1/ For showing latest posts, please check solutions below:
a) Go to Customize > General Options > and make sure you don't check to "Hide Latest Posts on Homepage"
b) Maybe you have less posts and all posts has been displayed on the Slider and you've exclude all the posts display on the slider from latest posts - so it make latest posts doesn't display. Please go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > make sure you don't check to "Exclude All Posts on the Featured Slider in Latest Posts on Homepage"
2/ When the latest posts showing, check this video tutorial to know how to setup featured categories.
Thank you very much as that solved my issue! Unfortunately, one issue is solved and another is popped up. I am having issues with Featured Slider 38. That particular slider causes a huge gap between the featured slider and the popular posts. https://gyazo.com/6820cf10cb7446f0f6f09b710e9a4fa0
This gap is sometimes seen on the live page and sometimes isn't. This is the first time I see it on the customizer.
Just to give you more information: When I disable the featured slider, the gap is no longer there. When I pick another Slider (1-37), the gap is no longer there. Thank you!
