    I would like to create a list of plus/minuses - basically an icon followed by a sentence. Is there a Penci element for WPbakery or any other widget/plugin that you could recommend?

    You can use HTML markup like this on your editor to do that:

    <i class="fa fa-plus-circle"></i> Great value
<i class="fa fa-minus-circle"></i> Still an LCD screen
