    I would like search results to show a short excerpt from each post instead of the entire post, especially on mobile devices. How do I do that in the Soledad theme?

    Hi,

    You can change layout for search results via Customize > General Options > Category, Tags, Search, Archive Layout.

    You can use "Grid Posts" layout for your search results page.
