I received another notification today to update my theme from 7.2.3 -> 7.3.0 . The update failed again giving the same error message -- Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
Is there still an issue with WP-Updates? I don't want to update manually because I don't want to make a mistake and I'm using a child theme.

In the mean time is there any plugin we could use to auto update theme? For example Easy Updates Manager plugin? Can I use this to update the theme and then remove the plugin after update?
OK. I'll attempt to manually update tonight. I'll follow the video. Just want to make sure that after activating default theme, I should delete parent theme and keep child theme. After that update by uploading soledad.zip file activate child theme. Am I correct?
I have manually updated my theme to 7.3.0 now but the problem with manual update is after the update is completed all my .Soledad widgets from homepage Main Sidebar like Quote, .Soledad About me, .Soledad Popular Posts etc disappeared. I have added them back one by one by trying to remember original custom settings for each widget.

We've updated the guideNow, you don't need to delete the theme - let's check the guide again to know how to do that in the future if wp-updates doesn't fixed it yet.
