    Hi,

I just noticed that the thumbnail's proportion of Recent Posts at the sidebar has changed. (eg. page: https://www.redheadillusion.com/sustainable-fashion-what-can-we-do-about-it-8245) Instead of being displayed as a proportion of post's featured image, now the thumbnail has started to use a crop image of 263x175 size at the end of its URL.

    Instead of this:
    background-image: url(../redhead-illusion-fashion-blog-by-menia-sustainable-fashion-01.jpg,
    there is this:
    background-image: url(../redhead-illusion-fashion-blog-by-menia-sustainable-fashion-01-263x175.jpg

Could you please tell me what has changed, so as to revert it back to the condition that it was before?

    Kind Regards,
    Panos

    * Thank you for the verification. Envato's API, even after three and a half hours or so, hasn't updated my purchase.

    Hi,

Because you'reĀ using vertical image size, so, in the latest version you just need go to Customize > General Options > Featured Image Type > select "Vertical Size" is oksmile.png

And the theme will auto load vertical images size for your site.

    Hi,

thank you very much. Now everything works fine again.

But I would like to ask, how come in the first place this setting changed back to horizontal size?

it doesn't keep its value, and it will be changed from time to time, when an update occurs?

Do I have to pay attention and to something else, when I will update the theme?

    Kind regards,
    Panos

    Hi,

No - that's settings from the theme and it doesn't lose when you update the theme in the futuresmile.png
