    Hi!

    Thank you for awesome theme! Just perfect for my little food blog.

    Its almost ready but few little issue disturbs me and my soul. And i hope you can help me.

    1. When i write my url, and send it to someone. With those scandic characters -ää, like this: www.gluteenitontaelämää.fi . When i go to my site from this link, it shows icons wrong. [screenshot mobile]

    Always on the first load. And disappears then. Is there some reason, or does it caused by those scandic characters? If i use copy/paste link like this: https://xn--gluteenitontaelm-9nbba.fi/ everything is fine.

    2. Now i use horizontal navi and header. [screenshot horizontal-navi (desktop)]. Is there any option to use this horizontal in desktop, but vertical in mobile. And mean just like screenshot attached. [Screenshot mobile vertical+Screenshot mobile vertical open]

    I've tried perhaps everything but is there some way to use menus like that?

    I like this little triangle at the top of the screen, and how it opens. But if i change "Enable vertical navivation", it crashes my desktop-header and navi also.

    I hope there is some way to use these both? :)

    Thank you for your answers in advance!

    Hi,

    1/ I just access direct on the link you sent on mobile and I didn't see any problems like that.

    Check this image: http://prntscr.com/s9omwx

    2/ Unfortunately, currently you can't do that. We will consider to add more this feature in the future updates.

    Hi! Thank you for your answer. Maybe there's something wrong with my browser. Because it always behave like this :D But okay. I'll try to resolve this.

    It would be nice if we can choose this different menu with mobile. Maybe someday.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hi again. One more question to this same ticket.

    If i want to change my font bigger in articles and posts. In mobile view?

    Maybe one size too small.

    Hi,

    You can try add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS to do that:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px){
        .post-entry p, .post-entry{ font-size: 16px; }
    }

    Change value 16 to value as you want.

    Hi,

    For blockquote, please try add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS to do that:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px){
    .post-entry blockquote, .post-entry blockquote p{ font-size: 18px; }
    }

    Hi!

    Again. I've posted this ticket before and it was okay then. I can live with that information that there's no any option to use this horizontal menu in desktop, but vertical in mobile.

    Now i have updated theme to the newest version and noticed few little issues with my mobile menu.

    - Before it was on the right side of the screen, but now on the left. I can't move it back to right side. My desktop menu is on the left, because it is best option if theme doesn't support different menus in desktop and mobile. Is that reason why also my mobile menu is on the left? Or can i move mobile menu to the right and keep desktop menu on the left? Custom CSS or easier way? [Mobile menu now]

    - Another issue is with that little white hamburger what supposed to be in the middle of the orange triangle. It disappeared. How can i get it back? [Screenshot mobile vertical]

    Maybe there's some easy way to fix those things but i have tried almost everything what i can imagine. And it frustrates me a lot. Can you help me?

    Mobile menu back to the right side of the screen and hamburger back?

    And thank you for the awesome theme!

    -Best wishes: Marko

    Hi,

    1. About the hamburger menu position, please go to Appearance → Customize → Vertical Navigation & Hamburger Menu: select the position you want to display at Position in Page,

    2. About the Hamburger icon, Please go to Appearance → Customize → Custom CSS then add the following custom CSS code:

    .penci-vernav-toggle svg {
        position: absolute;
        top: 5px;
        left: 5px;
        fill: #fff;
    }

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Thank you for your answer. Now i get the hamburger back.

    But.

    Menu/navication is still wrong. When i did this "Appearance → Customize → Vertical Navigation & Hamburger Menu: select the position you want to display at Position in Page" both of the menus moved to the right side of the page.

    And i want it to be that desktop vertical navi is on the left, and mobile navi is on the right. If both are on the same side, my site layout looks bad, and i don't want it that way :(

    Or Is there any option to use this horizontal menu/navication in desktop use, but vertical in mobile?

    Any custom CSS what helps?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    I've checked your site again. You've config your site display header as vertical and completely delete the default header.

    Please go to Appearance → Customize → Header → Vertical Menu & Hamburger Menu: uncheck

    Completely Delete The Header When Enable Vertical Navigation,

    Then copy & paste this CSS to your site:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 961px) {
        .penci-vernav-enable .penci-menu-hbg {
            display: none;
        }
        .penci-vernav-enable.penci-vernav-poleft .wrapper-boxed {
            padding-left: 0;
        }
    }

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.

    This -- > "Please go to Appearance → Customize → Header → Vertical Menu & Hamburger Menu: uncheck

    Completely Delete The Header When Enable Vertical Navigation" was unchecked already.

    [screenshot-1]

    Then i copy/paste this code what you send to me. And what happened? Navigation disappeared in desktop-version. Totally. No menu at all. No navication. I didn't actually mean that. But okay. I can use  topbar-menu optionally (i created it). I can live with that. [screenshot-2]

    Then "Position in page" -- > RIGHT. And what happened? Mobile navigation is ok, but desktop crashes. [screenshot-3]  There shows up large whire are to the right side of the screen (maybe place of the vertical navi) but it doesn't exist when "Position in page" is checked "LEFT" [screenshot-1].

    Is there something that i don't understand? Or what's the problem?

    I hope there's solution for that? Is there?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Maybe I can't imagine how the menu & header you want to display. So please send me the screenshot you want to display, I'll check then send you a solution.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

  • mmmarqo replied

    Okay,

    Here's screenshots. Right now i think it is the best setup/layout because there's no option to use different navications in mobile and desktop? (horizontal in desktop, vertical in mobile?) Not with hamburger menu because it doesn't work like i want.

    [screenshot-4] DESKTOP-view and menu/navi on the left. This is ok. Let it be there. This is current situation. [screenshot-1]

    [screenshot mobile vertical] MOBILE-view and navi/menu. I want it to be just like in this screenshot. RIGHT SIDE on the screen. Not in the left where it is at this moment.

    Does this help anything?

    I hope it does.

    Thank you!
