I've inserted code (from Inspect source code on home page... to get the code used in the footer widget) for the Subscribe widget. I inserted this code, in the homepage options section, in the CSS/insert code section, to have the subscribe widget show up below my featured slider. (See image)
However, when I submit my email info, the thank you message is not displayed in the same widget area... and the page refreshes.
How can I prevent this? I want to make sure subscription signup is seamless both below the featured slider and in the footer for my readers. Thank you!

Hi,
It can't be works because the mailchimp javascript can't be run when you do that.
Let's try use subscrible form from the header. Do following steps:
1/ Go to Appearance > Widgets > drag & drop widget "Mailchimp for WP" to "Header SignUp Form"
2/ Go to Customize > Colors for Header SignUp Form > check to move signup form to display below the slider.
Best Regards,

Thank you! that worked beautifully!
