I have to scroll 3 times to get past my post feature image and reach the text.. Keeping the picture style same I can I resolve the scrolling part? Is it a problem with the picture size. My picture is 1587 x 2245. If it is, what is the ideal picture size you recommend so that my picture size reduces and I get a more compact view? Also what is the ideal picture size to reduce the weight of the website but still retain quality?

Hi,
You're not using single style as default.
Please go to Customize > Single Post Options > on "Single Posts Template" > select any single post template ok for you.
And for better, if you see your images is long to scroll, you should resize your images height.
I recommend size: 1170 x 780px
