    Hi

    There's an option to "Exclude specific categories from latest posts on Homepage"

    But even if applied, the posts from such a category still show on the "Latest Posts" sidebar widget + in the frontpage slider...

    Is there a way to hide from both of these?

    Hi,

    It's options to help someone can exclude some categories they don't want to appears on the homepage.

    I think you should use option from Customize > Featured Slider Options > Exclude All Posts on the Featured Slider in Latest Posts on Homepage   - to get the posts on the slider doesn't appears on latest posts ( but it can't be apply for posts on the widget "Soledad Recent Posts" )
