    Where in the theme options do I change the default image that displays when there is no featured image associated with a post?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, currently, this theme doesn't support change default image.

    We will consider to add more this feature in the next update version of PenNews. I'm not sure it will be added but i'm sure we will consider about this.

    The default thumbnail has to be somewhere though in the directory? I can upload the image I want to use to replace the existing file.

    if you want change image default, please change the image
