I want to give my reader the option to receive newsletter everytime I publish a new post. Hence I am looking for a floating subscribe button where the readers can give their email ID and it will be automatically stored in a database and whenever I publish a new article they get notified with a good format . Do let me knwo which free plug in do you suggest is compatible with your theme.

Yeah, you can use the Mailchimp for WordPress plugin to do that.
You can install it via Appearance > Install Plugins > install & activate plugin "Mailchimp for WordPress"
If you don't see the plugin there - that mean you've installed that plugin.
So, please check the guide here to know how to config the Mailchimp:
