After updating Wordpress to version 5.5 when I create a new post I no longer see the space to insert the title and I can't even change the type of post (video, audio etc) and the screen settings.
I've updated the theme to the latest version as well as the theme plugins and Wordpress plugins.
With the block editor it is better but some options (Yoast, Membership etc) I cannot change them
I have the exact same issue... I updated to Wordpress 5.5 and the theme to the latest 7.3.5 version, and my post title form disappeared, along with other functionalities not working anymore ( can't change post format, Yoast SEO/Readability, etc...).
Many elements throughout the dashboard are also displaying wrongly (can't minimize/expand windows anymore, left sidebar isn't sticky anymore, media library displaying wrongly...etc.).
I was able to fix the issue by reading an older post:
1. Once you update both Wordpress and your theme to the latest versions, make sure you update the required plugins via Appearance > Install Plugins > click on "Update Available" tab. Do not go to Plugins > All Plugins (this is different and will not update the required plugins).
2. Once all required plugins are updated, open a new post and Press Ctrl + F5 to clear your cache. This worked for me, and all issues were fixed.
Buenos días, he seguido vuestras indicaciones y no me funciona. Cuando intento "instalar complementos" me sale una pantalla de error indicando que no tengo permisos suficientes. Y tampoco me funciona el borrado de caché en los artículos.
If have issue on your site, make sure that you use latest version of PenNews theme and add plugin come from PenNews theme then remove cache on your site.

Just now I've noticed that the title block icons are no longer visible after WP upgrade to 5.5.
The theme is latest version as well as the theme plugins and Wordpress plugins.
