    Hi,

    As I checked, your site has something wrong with the caching. I don't know where it come but I can't clear all the cache..

    When you check your site with "Inspect Element" you can see HTML of your site like this:

    http://prntscr.com/u4ps7k - the HTML should be:

    <img itemprop="image" src="https://theluxeologist.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Sisterfields-Bali-Breakfast-Berry-Crumble-Recipe-4-585x585.jpg" alt="sisterfields Bali cafe seminyak" title="Sisterfields-Bali-Breakfast-Berry-Crumble-Recipe-4" width="585" height="585">

    But, when you check the URL https://theluxeologist.com/sisterfields-seminyak-recipe/ on Rich results test - it return a different HTML - check this image - HTML of the image changed to:

    <amp-img src="https://theluxeologist.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Sisterfields-Bali-Breakfast-Berry-Crumble-Recipe-4-585x585.jpg" alt="sisterfields Bali cafe seminyak" width="585" height="585" sizes="(min-width: 585px) 585px, 100vw" class="amp-wp-enforced-sizes i-amphtml-element i-amphtml-layout-responsive i-amphtml-layout-size-defined" i-amphtml-layout="responsive" style="width: 100vw;"><i-amphtml-sizer slot="i-amphtml-svc" style="padding-top: 100%;"></i-amphtml-sizer></amp-img>

    And this caused the issue.

    I don't know what you did with your site to caused the caching like that. But you just need to remove all the caching to make HTML appears correct - the issue will gone.

    Hmm, is this not because google is crawling/checking the AMP version of the page ? From my testing, this issue is triggered when the AMP plugin is turned on an only then. I just retested and that is indeed the case. As soon as I turn the AMP plugin off, all of my issues with recipes and reviews go away. Turn it back on, boom errors are back. I truly think the issue is with the AMP plugin.

    Hi,

    The AMP plugin doesn't affect with the desktop version. We didn't got this issue from our-end.

    I still keep your issues with our developers ( you sent us email some days before ) - our developers still working on it to check. So, please wait for the official answer from our developers to see what's happened there.

    Ok, well I've tested every plugin on the site and I know 100% it's the AMP plugin causing the google errors. Ok, I will wait for an update...

    Just a heads up, when you look at a recipe from the site on mobile AMP, the image doesn't show next to the formatted recipe card title, but it does on desktop - so again points to it being an AMP plugin issue.

  • tableno7 replied

    from looking at your code, is it just missing the following tag when being converted to AMP?

    itemprop="image"

    Hi,

    We don't display the image for Recipe Card on AMP. We're still working on this to check & maybe we will release a new version of Review & Recipe in the nex time to make everything smooth for both version: AMP and non-AMP.

    Please wait for it. I can't tell anything at this moment..

    Ok, well it seems google sees that as an error which does hurt the page quality. That's disappointing that there is no fix for this issue?

    Hi,

    We're working on this to help you solve itsmile.pngAnd we're doing an update about this issue also. So, please wait for it. We need a few days to get it done. Hope you can understand, it's not something we can do right away.

    Hi there, was super excited about the update but it doesn't seem to have resolved the issues I've been having. Also the update doesn't seem to have resolved the review issue either, I'm still getting search console issues no matter what 'item type' I choose? Turning off AMP is not a possibility.
