I am working on creating a post. Customize - Single Post Options. Template - Style 4. I need a featured photo and cannot figure out how to add this. Please help.
This is all so very helpful. Thank you. One last thing and I think I will be good finally. What is the secret for getting a post to display on a particular page? For example, I created a single post but I do not know how to make it appear on one of the pages within my site. Thanks again.
You can assign that post for a category and use category page to display that posts
If you don't have any category, you can go to Posts > Categories > and add new a category.
You can add a category page to your menu by go to Appearance > Menus > click on "Categories" and add any category to your menu - check this image: http://prntscr.com/u9sy7r
And layout for category pages will follow layout you've selected on Customize > General Options > Category, Tags, Search, Archive Layout.
