The AMP developed by Google and it has too many hard rules need to follow and it doesn't supports for apply custom CSS & custom javascript.
So, all the pages from page builder can't be working on AMP, that's why we need to create an AMP pages with news only. It doesn't based the desktop version.
In other words, the AMP just supports for blog posts only. That's why you see all AMP pages quite simple
Thanks for the update. I've removed the AMP plugin from the site, hoping that my Google rankings woulds increase, by having more relevant content on the site. In this case, it looks like it's backfired. As Google was crawling the AMP version of my site.
I've added the AMP version back: ocrracer.com/amp
I'm guessing it's when Google crawls the mobile version, where I'd hope to see the rankings return to normal?
Yes, but please make sure you don't check to Appearance > Customizer AMP ( not Customize ) > Advanced Settings > Show AMP for Mobile Visitors. Let's check it again.
And it helps your posts validated as AMP pages on Google search results mobile & tablet.
Here is the way AMP works:
When someone on mobile or tablet > access google and search a keywords > the search results appears > if your site support AMP and appears on search results > AMP pages will loads.
It's different with mobile interface when you access derect to your site URL on mobile.
Hi there,
I've created an elementaor page, for OCRRacer.com, this is the home page.

What's the appeal of becoming an OCR Racer?Isn't displaying on the AMP page, any reasons why?
Thanks
