    I would like to be able to alter the layout and structure of the user profile pages which automatically generate for my users. Can you tell me either how to access these pages or how to disable them?

    Hi,

    1/ You can change layout for author pages via Customize > General Options > Category, Tags, Search, Archive Layouts.

    2/ If you want to disable the author pages, you can use this plugin:
