My Elementor doesn't work anymore. There is an error with my Soledad theme. So I am thinking of to change my theme to the pen news. Could you please tell me, what is the main difference between those both themes? Is it quite difficult do switch themes without too many changes at my site? I am using the Soledad theme actually.
Have you using Soledad theme version 7.3.6? Because I just checked the theme and I see it still work fine with Elementor.
If you're not using Soledad version 7.3.6 - let's go and update it to latest version by do following this guide.
After that, try it again.
If you still can't get Elementor works with latest version of Soledad, Please send me your WordPress site admin URL and admin account ( username and password ) - in a private reply. I will take it a look at this to help you.
And for Soledad & PenNews, the main different is designs & features. The designs of both theme is different and PenNews just supports WPBakery Page Builder - doesn't support Elementor. And PenNews focus more on customization, so it's a bit complex if compare with Soledad
I see, my version is 7.3.2 there was no update info the last few weeks!
The page is shown right, but the Elementor is only able to load in safe mode. I deactivated all other plugins, but nothing worked. So I thought it is the theme.
I will update Soledad manually and maybe it helps to load Elementor.
Oh, PenNews uses WP Bakery. Thats a pity. So I will keep Soledad. I prefer Elementor.
After update the theme to latest version, don't forget updates plugins via Appearance > Install Plugins > click on "Update Available" tab. ( NOT Plugins > All Plugins - please don't understand wrong. )
