    Hi guys,

I know you guys addressed this issue already and answered that according to you, the fact that author box being a H5, recommended articles or related articles being H3, or even "leave a comment" being a H3 don't affect SEO.

Sorry to say that it does.
Thanksfully, it is not the most important factor, but it sure is one of them. This is why all SEO expert advise to structure your blogpost in a logical order.

I know you will answer some of your users can rank 1st, I do too on some keywords, but sorry if i wanna have a good and smooth Hn structure which is one of the fundamentals of SEO.

Which I do, until the author box, the comment section or the sidebar elements enter the game coded with H2, H3, H5 tags, then it's a mess (see attachment)

If I optimize an article and its structure about a specific topic, it doesn't make sense to have a well thought Hn organisation then having my author name or the "top blogposts" from the sidebar being part of the Hn of every page. (see below image (sorry it's in french but those tags are not related to the content on my article).

I do love the theme and the improvement you guys do.
But why don't you replace those tags by simple <span> + some CSS ?

I actually did it a few times by editing the theme, but everytime I update it, ofc changes are lost.

So if you guys dont wanna fix this, is there a way people willing to do it by themselves can do it once for good ? I do use a child theme but not sure this would work. (could create file in the child theme be an option ?)

Cause now either I stop updating the theme to save those changes, or i update and have to waste time doing it everytime...

Thanks a lot for your answer.

    Hi,

Have you known how the way Google read the information from your site?

It's not read your content from headings tags anymore, google will index your site based on Rich Snippets - check more here - the ways read the content from heading is outdated a long time ago. That's why our theme supports for many Rich Snippets data to help Google index everything faster & easier. So, the headings don't affect anything to your SEO with a great Rich Snippet schema we're provided inside the themesmile.png

Hope that's clear for you now.

    Best Regards,
