Firstly, the font seems to have been enlarged on all my posts. The body copy is really big and the hierarchy seems to have been affected. Only happened last week, but not sure which update contributed to it. I have auto-updates on.
I also had to run J Query Migrate to bridge the gap between the new Wordpress version and Pennews. This keeps throwing up a lot of errors – will there be a fix for this soon?

Thank you that is helpful, I'm not sure why it jumped outside the theme. I still can't find where to set the caption fonts. Can you help there please. Also the social media icons seem corrupted? Thanks in advance.
Please send me screenshot for the item you want change font and send me your website managment information ( admin url site, username and password ) in order for me to have access to know the exact issue. We will take it a look on this help you.
Strange, i checked on your site. the issue ( social media icons not work ) error come from any the plugin use fontawesome. I add custom css to fix the issue.
That has fixed the small social icons at the bottom of the page but not the bigger ones in the sidebars (see attached).
Also I cannot find how to change the caption font and size back to the original smaller font that shipped with the theme. This new one is terrible and way too big.
The issue cause any plugin. You can try deactivated all plugin ( excrept plugins come form the theme and try it again ) - If it work, let's enable each plugin to check what's plugin caused this issue.

1. Click start
2. Search the font size and press enter
3. A pop-up window appears to choose the desire font size example (125) or large (150)
4. Use the display control panel in windows to adjust the appearance of the text.
5. Click the Apply button
6. A window will warn to log off the system and then go back
