    Hi, 


    I have been contacted by my hosting team, who is about to close my account because  the website is using lot of server resources.

    They think the issue may be caused by malfunctioning scripts, too many plugins, intensive processes, web bots, and in some cases, hackers.

    That's why II am contacting you to have a look.

    Secondly, the Edit option in the admin area is not available for some reasons.

    The second issue is about the "Theme Editor" is unavailable on my website

    Hi,

    If you want to activate the theme and plugin editor, you need to make some minor changes to your wp-config.php file:

    • Log in to your webspace via SFTP and go to your WordPress website
    • Open the folder /path-to-my-wordpress-website/  Connection data for secure FTP at a glance.
    • Open the file wp-config.php on your computer with a text editor like Notepad++.
    • Search for this entry:
    define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true);
    • Change 'true' to 'false':
    define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false);
    • Save the file and upload it again

    Hi

    As you advised me on the 28 October, all the plugin have been install and activated, but it has not solve the problem at all.

    The website is getting a huge amount of traffic (over 2.84 millions hits in November), which is not the right traffic. This is causing the server to run out of memory resources quite often.

    I was advised by the hosting company to move to VPS, after doing so, the website has gone from bad to worse. it's running slow, bad click, error messages etc...

    I am contacting you as a developper of the theme, I believe that you're the only one to give the right and final suggestions to solve the issue.
