There is one strange problem on my site (www.centralgalaxy.com), which is based on Soledad, and this problem also happens on PenNews (I just bought it) as well.
To reproduce,
1. Start Chome on IOS (either iPhone or iPad)
2. Start a new "Incognito" Tab (problem happned on normal tab as well, but not always, you will see this problem in incognito mode 100%)
4. Don't click anything, just scroll down to any "Read More" button and click on it.
5. The button will become "hover" state but the browser doesn't go to that link.
6. Need to click one more time to go to that URL.
Please note that
1. There is no such problem on Android.
2. Not only "Read More" button, I got the same problem, my site, centralgalaxy.com also experienced the same problem on any title links in "You might like" section in sidebar. (It is "SoleData Recent Post" widget)
3. There are some discussion about this behaviour in the internet, I've tried some suggested change on CSS with no success.
This issue downgrade the UX a certain degree and caused some of my testers feedback that the site is not responsive enough, could you please take a look?
I still can click and go to links like the video I sent.
Can you please try it again on another iOS mobile?
Also, the iOS devices can detect how the action does by how strong with your touch. If you touch less, it can understand that's hover, if you touch strong, it can understand that's click.
