I just purchased your theme and I ran into a problem. I followed your guide to setup a mega menu with CSS. However, it doesn't show the pages I want it to show.
Can it only be done with categories? I saw another Soledad theme do this with pages.
I attached a picture. You can see that under "About" there are no sub-items showing, yet they are showing under the menu structure.
Yeah, the category mega menu just supports for categories now. It doesn't support to show Pages on category mega menu.
If you see another site has Pages on category mega menu - it seems the owner of that site has been hire someone to modify the theme to get query change from the Posts to the Pages.
Thank you so much for your quick reply! I'll figure out something else. Is there any place I can leave suggestions for the theme? :) Also, quick question; is it possible to have specific featured posts in the slider or does it only show the latest posts?
1/ If you have any suggestions for our theme, you can put it here - we will takes it and see if we can add it in the future updates.
2/ Yeah, you can check options for filter featured slider via Customize > Featured Slider > General.
If you want to pick posts to display on the slider, you can use tags to filter your slider.
Example for filter posts by use a tag:
a) Go to Posts > Tags > create a new tag - example "featured"
b) Add this tag for all the posts you want to display on the slider.
c) Go to Customize > Featured Slider > General > on "Filter Slider By" > select "Featured Tags" and fill the tag slug for the tags you want to filter on "Fill List Featured Tags for Featured Slider" - with this example - it's "featured"
