    Hi,

    Please make sure you're using latest version of Soledad - 7.5.1 - if not, let's update it to latest version by do follow this guide.

    You can put your Google Analytics Code via: 

    Customize > Logo & Header > General > Add Custom Code Inside <head> tag

    or

    Customize > Footer > General > Add Custom HTML code before close </body> tag / Google Analytics Code

    Thank you so much for your prompt response.  Question - is it possible to upgrade directly without installing the plug-in?  I try to minimize the plug-ins for my site.  - Shirley

    Hi,

    The Envato Market plugin will help you connect to your Envato account and get the updates to help you. So, you can't do that without this plugin.

    And it doesn't affect anything to your site speed, so no worries about this.

    Got it, thanks!  So how does the update work?  I have configured in a way I like, including customization and not using some built-in functions such as recipe maker or index.  Will the update affect any of these?  Many thanks!

    Hi,

    When the theme has a new update, you can go to Appearance > Themes > and click "Update Now" on the thumbnail of Soledad there - Like updates for other free themes on WordPress.org

    And the update doesn't affect anything to your Customization options you didsmile.png
