I'm trying to re-create a simple homepage layout for my blog where there is a headline on top, then an image underneath, some text excerpt, and a read more button at the bottom(see attached image for what I mean). Unfortunately, neither the "Standard Posts" nor the "Classic Posts" option gives me this kind of layout. Both options end up with the blog posts being full-length listed one after the other. Is there a way to recreate this specific layout(like in the attached image) for both the homepage layout(blog) and the category pages?
Please check option for it via Customize > Posts Layouts > Standard & Classic > Display Post Excerpt Instead of Full Content
If you're using Elementor to config that page, you can edit element "Penci Latest Posts" > click on "Standard & Classic Layouts Options > and check to "Auto Render Post Excerpt"
