I currently have just started my site so there is not a lot of content yet. I wanted to already start working on the elementor layout. However for some reason it goes wrong when I want to use two columns and have the 1st post grid with featured on top.
I have used the same setup with another website also with soledad but for some reason i cannot get it to work this time. I have no idea where it goes wrong and have tried all possible variations. What I also notice is that as soon as I try that particular layout the background becomes grey in the editor. Not sure what that means but thought I mention it. I've included a screenshot of the layout.
Hope you can help me fix this. For the moment I am not using this as the homepage but want to change that in the near future.
2/ If this issue still appears - please try to deactivate all plugins ( except Elementor & plugins come from the theme ) and try it again. If it works, let's enable each plugin to check what's plugin caused this issue.
I did both things. There are not a lot of plugins active at this point as the site is very new. I deactived them anyway and changed the template to full width.
The issue is still the same.
It's driving me crazy. I'm doing exactly the same things as on my other site but it just doesn't work... Weird right? If you want me to make a login for you let me know

Strange, I didn't see this issue from my-end.
So, please try 2 points below:
1/ Go to edit this page: https://www.papertravels.nl/home/ - and select Template for this page is "Page Full Width" - check this image
