    The optimization settings mentioned in the documentation are not available in the Customizer for the theme. I was unsure whether this was a known issue, if I'm looking in the wrong place, or if it is because of hosting (the site is hosted on GoDaddy managed wordpress hosting

    Hi,

    Please make sure you've updated all the plugins come with the theme after update the theme via Appearance > Install Plugins.

    And make sure you've installed & activated plugin "Penci Shortcodes & Performance"
