I have installed demo data that has the features slider as header. I would like to change it to a header consisting of one image with small blocks below (as example in attachment). I just can't find this option anywhere. How do I adjust my header?

And I also can't find the PenNew element to make something like this (with bottons to a page): 

All the elements seems to link to a blog item..
