Image Size Changing to 6x4 When Viewing Page Not Logged In

When I view my site logged into my Wordpress admin, everything loads fine. But when I view my site logged out (both on my mobile device and on incognito browser), The featured post image initially loads in normal dimensions but that suddenly shrinks to 6x4 (barely visible). The same thing is happening to my About image in the Footer #1 widget.

This is slowing down my site and showing up on page speed tests. I also see two additional images being loaded on my site that are not a part of my site and seem to be somewhere in the theme, but I don't know where to find them. These are named "/wp-content/themes/soledad/images/penci-holder.png" and "/wp-content/themes/soledad/images/searchsubmit.png"

    Hi,

Strange, I never see an issue like this before.

So, I think you have a plugin caused this issue, please try remove all the cache and deactivate all plugins ( except plugins come from the theme ) and try it again. If it works, let's enable each plugin to check what's plugin caused this issue.

It seems that the error was being caused by the add image dimensions option in the WPRocket plugin. I think it chose these dimensions based on the penci-holder.png image that is located somewhere on the page that has the 6x4 dimensions.

Do you know why there would be the following images loading on my page and how I can remove them?

    /wp-content/themes/soledad/images/penci-holder.png

    /wp-content/themes/soledad/images/searchsubmit.png

These load on every blog single post page and I do not want them to.

    Hi,

It's placeholder for use lazyload images.

We will use images with a small size to load first and the real image will be loads after that and replace to those images. It makes your site load fastersmile.png
