1. How do I remove the spacing under the header menu? I cannot find the option for this.
2. I want the carousel to mimic the SViral demo carousel - 4 images, full width, nice and neat. I cannot replicate this. When I stretch, it pulls it to 6 images and 2 of them don't even load until I move the carousel. This has not been an easy thing to replicate at all. Please advise.
One further question, I have gone into Customize > General and enabled sticky sidebar but the sidebar on my homepage is not sticking on my homepage. Please can you advise as to why this is:
Final question: On the homepage, I am able to make certain things not visible when showing a list of posts. For example, not showing the author or the date, that's simple enough.
I need to be able to make these same sort of changes on category, tag, search and archive pages. I have attached a screenshot as an example. I would like to not show the breadcrumbs, the author, the date or the social bar. I would just like to display the image, headline and exerpt.
Where would I find the options to not display these things on these types of pages?

1/ When you use Elementor to config a page - you should select Template for that page is "Page Full Width" - check this image
And I recommend you check this video tutorial to know how to create a homepage/page by using Elementor.
2/ It's slider-style 8 - use inside a full-width section - you can get it by use the element "Penci Featured Slider" from Elementor.

If you're using Elementor to config the homepage, you need to enable the sticky sidebar on edit the page by use Elementor.
We've mentioned this in the video tutorial I sent you also ( watch from 4:00' to 4:40' of the video )
