Please can you advise if there is a way to get the featured image to be displayed correctly on the front of my blog. I have tried decreasing the image size but still only part of the image is displaying in some cases and being cut off.
If you want to get it works fine with Grid layout, please crop the images to 1170x780 pixel before upload it to WordPress.
You can try crop an image to 1170x780 pixel by use Photoshop or another tool or crop it on this website - after that, upload this image and set it's featured image for a post - you won't see it get cut off anymore.
One note:
If you want to change the image size from horizontal to square or vertical, you can change it via Customize > General Options > Featured Image Type.
Thank you and I did exactly that (Resizing and cropping) and started from the beginning again but I keep getting the same end result. It does not display as it should and it just does not make sense. So not sure what is wrong!
Thank you once again for your feedback. I permanently deleted the old photo and completely removed it from the blog. Then I uploaded the resized one and reattached it. But still it is giving me the same end results.. that is why I am a bit confused.
Any other suggestion? I do appreciate all the assistance

Hi,
Yeah, we need to crop/resize the images to make sure all the posts display good - if we don't do that, the layout will look broken like this image.
If you want to show full size of the featured image, I recommend you use "Masonry" layout or use featured image with 1170x780 pixel.

Thank you for your feedback!
I have resized the image and cropped it! Please advise if needs to be further resized?
I have attached the image dimensions below as it is still not displaying correctly
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated

Hi,
After upload again the image, you need to go to edit your post > and select again the featured image to the image you just uploaded.
Because if you don't do that, the featured image still is the old image you've uploaded before.
