Hello, I am using your theme but with an old version: 7.2.3. I've not made any theme update for at least one year but my website is using wordpress 5.7. There are some bugs (obviously). My question is to now what would you recommand as a best-practice to update the theme? Can I just download the last version 7.8 or will it be better to upgrade some previous versions first, like 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.7 ? Thanks in advance for you help.

You should update it to the latest version.
Because you're using an outdated version, so please remove the code at the end of functions.php file like on this image: http://prntscr.com/uon4qx
