I just notived that the search function of my soledad website is only returning posts, not pages. Is this intended behaviour or a bug? I'm new to wordpress and may have overlooked a switch which controls this behavior.
I found this solution on stackoverflow.com. Adding the code snippet provided in the answer to functions.php in the soledad child theme solves the problem. Or is there a better way to do this?
By the way: Many thanks for the beautiful theme! Your work is much appreciated!
Yeah, by default we’ve exclude all pages from the search results. If you want to include pages on the search results, please go to Customize > General > General Settings > and check to “Include pages on search results”
Many thanks! I should have found that myself. I was looking for quite some time, but there are so many options... On the other hand, that's just the strong point of Soledad.
