    1. how can i  trun off the slider in the main page ?

    2. how to remove unneeded javascript ?

    Hi,

    1/ You can disable it via Customize > Featured Slider > General > and un-check on "Enable Featured Slider"

    2/ We've checked before running the javascript from our codes, so you don't need to do that.

    Maybe the unneeded js will come from your plugins you're using.
