    Is there a way to present small excerpts or is there a similar post display that does so with Penci Featured Slider style 9 (small list style)?

    Please download this file then overwrite to:

    wp-content/themes/soledad/inc/elementor/modules/penci-featured-sliders/widgets/style-9.php

    Do I need to reinstall the whole theme? What is the easiest way to add this in?

    Hi,

    You should use the Penci Small Lists element, this element display similar to the Style 9 with the custom excerpt display.
