    hello,

    How to set meta description on homepage. 

    At this moment moment my homepage have dynamic meta description based on latest post.

    Hi,

    Please install the WordPress SEO plugin to set up the meta description and other meta tags for your site.

    Example some plugins:

    yes we can set meta description by yoast plugin on each page/post.

    but at this moment, i use "latest post" for my homepage display, and i didnt find place to setup the meta description for homepage. 

    Is it possible to set HomePage Meta Description which Displays latest Posts on your theme?

    so this is what happen to me.

    yesterday when i search "xpertindo" on google, my homepage https://xpertindo.net is rank 1 on google. 

    But today it disappear, and i cant find my homepage on google search result, 

    i think this happen because the meta description of my homepage has been change as well.

    Hi,

    For the homepage build with the Customizer or show the latest posts, you can go to Appearance → Customize → Homepage → General, add the content to Add Meta Description for Homepage field.
