    Hi,

It seems that I have an issue with widget "Soledad Recent posts" and the filter functionality.
I'm using this widget 3 times in my sidebar : "Les Tops", "Critiques" and "Dossiers". I set up the 2 first ones a while ago and didn't touch it, and it works well.
The problem occured when I tried to modify the filter on "Dossiers" (the last one on the sidebar). I'm tring to filter by 2 subcategories ("dossiers thématiques" and "analyses de scènes"), and it doesn't work.
I left it online so that you can see. You have to click on an article to see the sidebar. It just shows the two lasts posts of my website, which happen not to be part of those subcategories.
    How come it doesn't work?

    Thanks,
    Elodie

    Hi,

I've installed the Classic Widget plugin then config the Latest Posts widget settings again, now this working with the custom select categories.

    Please check.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot, it works! It also seems much easier to use in the admin panel.

I have another question about the sidebar. When I test the website on GTmetrix, the sidebar appears on the left, behind the text, on their screen capture (attachment). Is there a problem with the sidebar?

    Hi,

The problem because some CSS rules of your page are not included on a generated critical CSS.

Please try to open the Critical CSS Tool, regenerate critical CSS for a single post then try to test again.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

I just did it and the problem is still the same.

Just in case I wouldn't do it well, here's how I do it : I empty the cache first with WPRocket, then deactivate WPRocket, then click on the blue triangles in the Critical CSS Tool, then refresh, then activate WPRocket. Is that the right way to do it?

    Thanks,

    Elodie

    Hi,

Yes. Your workflow is right, but I've managed to delete some old critical CSS files.

Now your site displays properly on GTMetrix & Google PageSpeed Insight:
