    Hi,

I found out about using https://optimize.pencidesign.net/, and then installing Crtitical CSS to optimise my site speed. However, I do not have a Windows computer, I just have a MacBook. Is it possible for you to help me by installing Critical CSS in another way?

I cannot run exe files on Mac.

    Thanks

I've followed the optimisation video and done the first (optimising using the two Penci Plugins) and last part (WP Fastest Cache installation). The second part (generating Critical CSS) I couldn't do because I don't have a Windows PC.

Actually. don't optimise it yet please.

I'm going to go and make all the major changes that I want to make first. I'll let you know, and after that you can optimise for me, please :)

I'm done making all the major structural changes. Could you please generate Critical CSS for my theme. :)

Also, I've installed a Favicon but I don't know why it's not showing. I've tried clearing the cache, but it doesn't fix the issue. Could you please help me fix that as well?

The Google Page Insight score for PC has improved by a lot to 91 . But the mobile score is still about 77..

    Hi,

Please read the Google Page Speed report detail for your mobile, if you want to improve the mobile score, please follow these steps:

    - Install the Image optimizer plugin: EWWW Image Optimizer: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/

    - Go to Appearance → Customize → Speed Optimization → General → Lazyload: scroll down to bottom then check:

    • Disable Lazy Load Images on Sliders
    • Disable Lazyload Images on Single Posts

    - Finally, clear all your site cache then check again.

    PenciDesign.

    Thanks sm..

I guess it worked.. but i'm a bit unsure. The score on google analytics has improved, but my complete load time of the website is significantly high (around 7-8 seconds at least)..

I'm getting a good score when I scan from GtMetrix or Google analytics, but my website takes long time to load.

    Hi,

The PageSpeed Optimizer will optimize how the website loading and serve the content to the user. The loading speed of your site depending on the server location. If your site doesn't use any CDN service, the loading speed will be slow if your device has a large distance from the website server.

    Hi,

I just installed a CDN (from Cloudflare), and it seems like the CDN reduced the loading speed of the website even more..

Do you know what else I can do to speed it up?

    Thanks

  • wasifshah1999 replied

Also, the images on the main slider don't load until like 5-10 seconds after the whole website loads. Do you know a way to fix that?

    Hi,

    1. The image is delayed because you've enabled the Lazyload feature for Slider, please disable it on Appearance → Customize → Speed Optimization → General → Lazyload: Disable Lazy Load Images on Sliders

    2. Go to Appearance → Customize → Speed Optimization → PageSpeed Optimizer: Exclude CSS Classes of Images/Iframes from Lazy Load of Penci Speed Optimizer, enter this text to this option

    penci-mainlogo

    3. If you want to improve page speed faster, you should config the server-level cache. Example: Memcached, varnish cache, ...

    PenciDesign.

    Hello,

    1. I just checked. both "Disable Lazy Load Images on Sliders" and "Disable Lazy Load Images on Single Posts" are already ticked.

    2. I've done step 2.  Still I think it takes a bit to load the main slider

    3. I'll check that out, thanks for that :)

    Hi,

I've checked your site. The lazyload has been disabled & the image delay because it needs a little time to be fully loaded.

Please clear your browser cache then check again.

    PenciDesign.
