After installing the theme and its child (downloaded from Envato, unzipped in each individual .zip file), I am experiencing some parse errors on .php files I did not touch.
when there is the sequence $var_name () ?? ' ' ; --> to solve I had to cancel the entire line
when there is the sequence : array { --> to solve I had to cancel 'array'
these parse errors happened concernign the files:
social_counter.php
featured_archive_posts.php
penci-menu-callback.php
header_builder.php
to solve for them all I had to modify the files as explained and save a copy in the child theme to prevent theme updates from breaking the site again.
I also am experiencing impossibility to modify pages in Elementor given the attached error (see screenshot attached). The Elementor plugin was installed and activated through the 'suggested plugins' of the theme.
As I checked, you're using a very outdated version of PHP and it caused the problem.
Please check here - WordPress required PHP version 7.4+ - please contact your hosting provider and requirement them to update the PHP version to at least 7.4
You can see many free themes on WordPress.org that doesn't support because your PHP version is too outdated - check this image: http://prntscr.com/20xnqwn
