    I bought the Soledad Gen Mag template and am really enjoying learning the customization options. Really well done!

    But for some reason, my blog post pages all have the same issue - a blue bar across the top section - and I can't figure out where it came from or how to get rid of it. Hoping you can help!

    Hi,

    You can remove this content by going to Appearance → Widgets: remove all the content at the Header Signup Form widget area.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    That worked for removing the links that were in the bar...but the blue bar is still there. Do I need to delete the entire Signup Widget to get rid of the blue bar?

    Hi,

    Yes. You should delete all widgets in this area to completely remove the blue bar on the front end.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

  • hobsonmedia replied

    I'm unable to do that (see screen shot) because there's no "delete" option shown. I also can't drag it away from the widget gallery.

    In addition to that question, I have one more for the Single Posts pages. How do I get rid of the (screenshot) "Share This" and "like this" sections?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    1. Please click the Text widget on the Header Signup Form widget area then click the Delete button,

    2. This area is a part of the Jetpack plugin, so please go to the dashboard → Jetpack → Settings → Sharing: disable the Add sharing buttons to your posts and pages option.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Great! I think we're down to the last item or two...

    I created a header to appear on single blog post page, but when I use it, the post is jammed up into the header and the result is a garbled mess (screenshot). What did I miss when it comes to properly configuring the header so there's space?

    Hi,

    Please edit your header → click the Normal Header tab, then select No at Enable Transparent Header( Overlap Header ).

    PenciDesign.

    I finally found the header style I want to use (so many options!) but can't figure out how to have it appear without the post title, since my image already has the title on it. Where do I find the "hide post title" option?

    Hi,

    Please go to Appearance → Customize → Custom CSS then add the following custom CSS code:

    .penci-mag-featured-content h3 {
        display: none;
    }

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Thank you! This SHOULD be the last question (I hope)...something is amiss with the footer. How do I clean this up?

    Hi,

    I've checked your site (http://www.foregolfersnetwork.com/) and have not found this problem.

    Please send me a related URL to this issue.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

  • hobsonmedia replied

    After logging out of the admin and just going to the site, I don't see the issue any longer. Thanks

    Can't seem to get the Soledad Tweet widget to work...I've entered all the requested data but it won't populate properly, so I'm stuck with the awfully clunky Jetpack version.

    Hi,

    This is an error from the widget cache, please delete the Twitter widgets then re-add this and check again.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

  • hobsonmedia replied

    Deleted both twitter widgets (yours and Jetpack) then tried to re-add Soledad...same problem...with a Debug message in screenshot saying Twitter is probably down...but it's not

    I'm trying to modify the colors of the headings in the sidebar widget but can't locate where those settings are found. Can you point me in the right direction?

    Please go to Appearance → Customize → Sidebar → Color: change the color at the Sidebar Widget Heading Text Color option.
