    Hello team,

I read in the domumentation the section about speed optimization.

Can I also use WP Optimize as cahcing Plugin with yout theme? And if yes, what do I need to consider regarding the settings?

Secondly, do you recomment to use in addition a plug in for image file compression like WP Smush or is it not necessary when I follow the speed optimization instructions from the documentation?

    Please let me know.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

    1. You can use the WP-Optimize as the caching plugin for your site,  but you need to turn off all the optimization and use the cache feature only on this plugin,

    2. You can install & use all the features of the Smush plugin excluding the Lazyload feature (because this feature is already included on Soledad).

    PenciDesign.

    Hello,

I now want to do the speed optimization for my website.

If I use the Ewwww plugin for the images, what do I need to consider there? Is the only thing I need to check that I deactivate lazyload?

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Sorry, one other question:

I have chosen the W3 Total Cache plug-in. I followed the instructions in the Soledad documentation.

However, I was wondering if it is correct that in the W3 Total Cache Settings I do not activate CDN. Is it correct?

    Hi,

    1. You can use any image optimizer plugin like EWWW, but you need to turn off the Lazyload feature because Soledad is already included and it will conflict when you enable it on another plugin,

    2. If your site doesn't use any CDN service, you don't need to activate the CDN feature.
