The Soledad theme has been working perfectly, I'm pleased with the product. However, there is now a WordPress Editor mode glitch with the automatic update to 8.1.1. Embedding videos (YouTube or Vimeo, it makes no difference), the WordPress Editor shows the embed process beginning but the video/player does not appear. The embedded video/player is actually there, but the space appears blank. If the edit is saved/published, the video/player is in place where it should be.
Simply put, you can see the embed URL process begin. A space is created, but the player/video does not appear. It is loaded but only shows as a blank space.
Posts that always showed the players embedded in WordPress Editor mode only show a blank space in edit mode now. Only version 8.1.1 will not show embedded videos when the post is open in WordPress Editor mode.
I have tried numerous posts that have live, functional videos. When brought into WordPress Editor mode, all live videos/players are blank spaces. If a post has several live videos, all video positions are blank spaces in the edit mode.
In addition to the 8.1.1 automatic update, I downloaded the .zip file from Envato and installed it. The glitch was in the download 8.1.1 version as well. All other edit functions seem okay.
Others may be experiencing the same issue. Please advise.
