    Hi!

I have a question about the PenciSlider.

When you visit my site, the slider does not play, it stands still. Only when you start to be active on the page, e.g. to scroll, the (first) slide builds up and plays. This is especially noticeable in the mobile version.

But I would like the slides to start when you enter the page and not when you start to scroll.

    I hope I could explain what I want. :)

    What can I do?

    Regards

    Hi,

When you're using the page speed optimization feature, all the JS code will be delayed until the user interaction with your site. You can disable this feature but your site also will drop the page speed score by going to Appearance → Customize → Speed Optimization → Optimize JavaScripts.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

    thanks for the reply.

I would like to try it.
So when I'm in Optimize JavaScripts in the Customizer, I disable "Delay Javascript Execution"?

Because when I do that, the Pencislider doesn't appear at all until I become active.

    Regards

    Hi,

Yes. You need to disable the Delay Javascript Execution if you want the slider showing immediately when a user visits your site.

    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

as mentioned below,  if I disable this, the slide (the complete image) does not appear at all.

Anyway, I think I can live with the fact that the slider only plays when the visitor becomes active...

    Hi,

If the image doesn't display, please go to Appearance → Customize → Speed Optimization → General & Lazyload: turn on the Disable Lazy Load Images on Sliders option.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

    Thanks!
Now the images play... but unfortunately without the titles, text and buttons.
