hello, my query is because I have implemented infinite scroll in my articles, but I have noticed that when scrolling and changing the article, google analytics does not detect the new url that is being browsed... is it possible to configure this in google analytics?

    Hi,

About your question, you can use the Element Visibility Trigger feature on the Google Tags Manager setting by following the detailed document here: https://www.simoahava.com/analytics/element-visibility-trigger-google-tag-manager/

hello, thanks for your answer, I have also noticed that the web speed performance has decreased considerably after implementing the infinite scroll, is it possible to make any adjustments to pass the google speed test?

    Hi,

The problem is that you've added the AdSense code in the single post many times, so this script is decrease the page speed.

Please added add adsbygoogle.js 1 time only in the Appearance → Customize → Logo & Header → General, then delete it in another place.

Thanks, getting back to the infinite scrolling issue the link you provided hasn't solved the problem. Maybe I didn't explain the situation well.
By activating infinite scroll at the end of each article the function loads a new one without the need to click. So far so good since that is what I am looking for is to lower the bounce rate, but the problem is that Google Analytics does not take the new url of the new article when scrolling.
Therefore the bounce rate remains the same. Is there a way to make Google Analytics take it as a new pageview?

    Hi,

Please read the document on the link I've sent before (https://www.simoahava.com/analytics/element-visibility-trigger-google-tag-manager/). The visibility trigger will call the pageview counter from GA when the single post loads the next post.

hello, i have already made the configuration as shown in the article you sent me, but google analytics still does not distinguish as a new pageview when the user scrolls down and the article changes. That is, google analytics shows it as if it were in the same initial article and therefore the bounce rate remains the same. Could you explain to me exactly what is the configuration that I must configure in Google Tag Manager in order to achieve the objective?

    Hi,

I can't access your account so I can't help you config it, but here is a very detailed document from Google about this case: https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/7679410?hl=en

infinite scroll does not show adsense ads on the second screen. When the user reaches the end of the article and continues scrolling on the next news, adsense advertising and twitter tweets are not displayed. Is there anything that can be done to correct this?

    Hi,

Please go to Appearance → Customize →

    • General → Category, Tag, Search, Archive
    • Homepage → General

Config the ads code at the In-Feed Ads section then clear all the site cache & check again.

Please make sure you've also inserted the infeed ads code, this means the ads code can display multiple times on one page.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

    1. Please put your ads code in Appearance → Customize → Single Posts → General:

    - Add Google Adsense/Custom HTML code below post description
    - Add Google Adsense/Custom HTML code at the end of content posts

    2. About the Twitter Feed, please make sure you've installed the oAuth Twitter Feed plugin by going to Appearance → Install Plugins. Then go to https://developer.twitter.com/apps, get the API key & enter to your site.
